Windows 11 Opens Doors to Older PCs: The End of TPM 2.0 Requirement

📰1 week ago2 viewsNew

In a surprising turn, Microsoft has announced that Windows 11 will now be available for installation on older PCs that do not meet the stringent hardware requirements previously outlined, including the lack of a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 chip. This decision is a welcome relief for users of older systems, especially as the end of support for Windows 10 looms closer, slated for next year.

Compatibility with Older Hardware

Initially, Microsoft mandated that Windows 11 installations require a TPM 2.0 chip to ensure enhanced security and system integrity. However, this strict policy faced significant backlash, particularly from users with older, yet still functional, hardware. In response, Microsoft has relaxed its stance, allowing upgrades even on systems lacking this component. While this broadens accessibility, Microsoft remains cautious, explicitly warning users about potential risks associated with installing Windows 11 on unsupported hardware.

Never Combine Taskbar Buttons is finally back on Windows 11

📰1 year ago264 views

In a surprising and much-welcomed move, Microsoft has brought back the "Never Combine Taskbar Buttons" feature to regular Windows 11 users with the release of the 2023-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 (KB5031354). This update has been long-awaited by users who were accustomed to the feature's functionality in earlier Windows versions, and it marks another step in Microsoft's ongoing efforts to refine and enhance the Windows 11 experience.

The "Never Combine Taskbar Buttons" feature is not entirely new to the Windows. It was a staple in earlier Windows versions, allowing users to keep individual taskbar buttons for each open application or window, even when multiple instances of the same program were running. This feature made it easier for users to quickly switch between open windows, as they could simply click on the program's icon in the taskbar, and it would display a list of all open windows associated with that program.

Today, I will show you the easiest way to install an Android .apk file on Windows 11 without using an emulator.

You will need the Windows Subsystem for Android™ installed for this method to work. If you don't have it installed, check out my previous tutorial where I demonstrate a quick way to install it, even if it says that your device is not supported.

Step 1:

Open Windows Subsystem for Android™ and enable Developer mode.

Step 2:

Download WSA pacman installer from github and install it:

Step 3:

Allow ADB debugging and double click the apk file you want to install.
And that was pretty much it, enjoy 😊
Now you can install apk files.

How to install Windows Subsystem for Android on Windows 11 (easy way)

📰2 years ago541 views

The Android Subsystem, a feature that allows Windows 11 users to run Android apps on their PC, is not currently available in most countries.

So there is high chance that you are getting error "This app will not work on your device.", or you may not see it on the app store at all.

I was surprised how everyone was suggesting the hardest methods to install the Android Subsystem.

So today I will show you the easiest way of getting android apps running on your computer from any country on non insider build of Windows 11.

Step 1:

Open Start and type "Region settings", this will open Settings window.

Step 2:

Change your region to United States (you can change it back later).

Step 3:

Restart the app store.

Step 4:

Head to official Microsoft App store web page of Windows Subsystem for Android™ and click on the "Get in Store app" button which will open the app store.

Reasons why you should downgrade from Windows 11 and not upgrade.

📰2 years ago262 views

Windows 11 is the latest version of Microsoft's operating system, but it may not be the best choice for everyone. While it comes with some new features and improvements, there are also several reasons why you may want to consider downgrading to an earlier version of Windows, such as Windows 10.

One of the main reasons to avoid upgrading to Windows 11 is that it comes with more bloat and unnecessary features, which can use up more resources and slow down performance. This can be particularly problematic for users with older or less powerful devices, as they may struggle to run the new OS smoothly.

Additionally, the integration of Android apps into Windows 11 can also use up a lot of resources, making it feel like you're gaming when you're just running apps. This can be a big problem for users who expect to use android apps regularly, it still is a great feature though and shouldn't be an issue when you are not using them, just don't get caught up in hype.

The user interface of Windows 11 is also not as responsive as it should be and can be prone to random glitches, with slow opening action cente...
